Quality Distribution, Inc., a leading Utah based Third Party Warehouse and Distribution Company located just 2 miles West of the Salt Lake International Airport, has an immediate opening for a full-time Sales and Marketing Specialist.

Job Summary :
The Sales and Marketing Specialist will plan and execute sales and marketing strategies to support company sales and revenue growth objectives as guided by the Director of Business Development.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
None
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Sales
- Understand key areas of potential business opportunities and present a plan on how to execute
- Develop relationships with potential new customers and follow through the sales process
- Negotiate pricing with new and existing customers
- Update customer pricing contracts
- Assist with growth of transportation division
- Coordinate company transload services
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Marketing
- Outline marketing plan and goals for next 12 months
- Develop new ways to continue marketing to existing customers
- Drive social media vision and plan for next 12 months
- Create and publish weekly / monthly social media posts
- Collaborate on website updates
Required Skills / Abilities :
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable and effective with multitasking.
- Project management experience.
- Problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Social Media content creation (FB, IG, LinkedIn).
- Graphic Design proficiency with Canva a plus.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail.
Education and Experience :
- Associate degree in related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience supporting sales / marketing.
- Minimum of 2 years content creation (FB, IG, LinkedIn).
- Minimum of 3 years Microsoft Office.
- Minimum of 2 years contract negotiations experience.
Physical Requirements :
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
