This position is located in Everett, WA and is not remote or hybrid.

WHAT YOU’LL DO :

  • Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Partner with Human Resources Director to provide performance management guidance to the Leadership Team (coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions, and terminations).
  • Manage the talent acquisition and hiring processes, which will include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for leadership and professional roles;

collaborates with the Leadership Team to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

  • Partner with Internet Marketing team to maximize our Employer Branding on all platforms.
  • Manage the onboarding / offboarding staffing processes.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and HR best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Manage all Workers Comp and Unemployment Claims efficiently and effectively.
  • Administer monthly benefit orientation, new hire enrollments, changes and separations for healthcare benefits, Life Insurance and 401(k).
  • Champion our company-wide safety programs in a manner that maintains maximum employee safety consistent with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.

Lead quarterly virtual safety meetings.

  • Coordinate with Leadership Team regarding requests for LOA and administrative policies and procedures.
  • Update and maintain employee information in the HRIS system.
  • Processes hourly personnel status change (address, pay, position, status, terminations, etc.) in a timely manner.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING :

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize based on urgency.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Work in office.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

  • 4+ years of professional human resources experience is required for consideration.
  • Experience in CA Wage & Hour / Labor Laws is a huge plus!
  • Active Professional HR Certification (PHR) or SHRM-CP Certification strongly preferred.
