We are looking for a Process Automation engineer to build and operate America’s next generation of foundry equipment. This role is ideal for a versatile engineer who enjoys hands-on work across various disciplines.
You'll work with hardware and software, while taking on significant responsibility for operating, upgrading, and maintaining a fleet of 3D printers, atmospherically controlled furnaces, and vacuum induction melters.
A supercomputer is included for heavy compute workloads in customer geometry design for casting.

Responsibilities
- Design, manufacturing, characterization, and qualification of custom built production equipment
- Managing part production to stringent standards through a series of processes all at different automation levels
- Operating processes during the day, and automating them by night
- Scale into large scope R&D iteration of new processes (robotic sandblasting and water jetting)
- Work late into the night during production surges
Experience
- 4+ Years experience mechanical design
- Extremely comfortable with mechanical and electrical assembly
- Proficient in NX / Solidworks
- Simple Embedded programming
- Evidence of excellence
