Bill Welding and Fabrication LLC d / b / a BWF Construction is family owned and has been operating since 2015. We are a licensed General Contractor, and we have over 25 years of experience in general construction, carpentry, painting, general construction and structural welding.

BWF Construction self-perform carpentry, janitorial, fabrication, metalwork, demolition, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.

We offer a wide range of services which allows us the opportunity to work with our clients in the capacity that best suits their needs.

Bill Welding and Fabrication LLC d / b / a BWF Construction is also an MBE / WBE, DBE BEP and Section 3 business, and we love to give back to the community in various ways.

We hire Section 3 workers as well as engage in apprenticeship opportunities for local youths interested in acquiring trades.

Our proven track record includes new construction expansions, renovations, and remodels, among other services, at the private, commercial, municipal, state, and federal levels.

The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, growth, and management of the company.

Leading the executives and senior management in the day to day running of the Company's business, under the supervision of the Chief Executive Officer.

This role demands a visionary leader with extensive experience in the construction industry, who can drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and foster a culture of excellence.

The COO will work closely with the executive team to ensure the company’s long-term success and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement the company’s strategic vision and long-term goals. Lead the executive team in executing strategies that drive growth and enhance profitability.
  • Operational Management : Oversee all aspects of the company’s operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Implement best practices to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.

Financial Oversight : Manage the company’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Ensure financial stability and profitability while identifying opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings.

Business Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to expand the company’s portfolio.

Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and industry partners.

  • Team Leadership : Build and lead a high-performing executive team. Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure team members achieve their professional goals and contribute to the company’s success.
  • Risk Management : Identify and mitigate risks associated with construction projects and business operations. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements.
  • Innovation and Sustainability : Promote innovation and sustainability within the company. Implement new technologies and practices that enhance efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and improve project outcomes.
  • Community Engagement : Represent the company in the community and industry. Build and maintain a positive company image through active involvement in industry associations and community initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within the construction industry, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry, including market trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Excellent strategic planning, financial management, and business development skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
