Job Title : Repair Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining various bins using a range of tools and techniques.

This role requires a self-starter who can work independently or with a partner to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform plastic welding on damaged bins.
• Transport bins to the wash area.
• Operate hand and power tools.
• Inspect bins for defects and perform necessary repairs.
• Work independently or with one other person in your area.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in repair techniques.
• Experience with hand tools and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Skills in fabrication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in fabrication or construction / carpentry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Work Environment

2nd shift hours are Monday-Friday, 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 30 PM. During busy seasons, extended hours may be required to ensure all work is completed.

This role involves working in a shop environment with various tools and equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux City, Iowa.
