We are in the search for an adept Service Representative in the Insurance Services, H& B field. The role is situated in Rochester, New York, focusing on the Payroll Services industry.

The employment type for this role is a long-term contract position.

Responsibilities :

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Handle customer inquiries and concerns regarding insurance services, providing accurate and prompt responses.
  • Process applications for insurance services, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date customer records, updating information as necessary.
  • Monitor customer accounts, identifying any issues and taking necessary action to resolve them.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of insurance services to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Handle confidential customer information with discretion and in compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Use problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Contribute to the team's overall goals and objectives, actively participating in team meetings and discussions.
  • Must possess comprehensive knowledge of the insurance industry, particularly in Health and Benefits (H& B).
  • Demonstrable experience in a Service Representative role within the Payroll Services industry.
  • Proficient in utilizing payroll and human resources software systems.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to handle client inquiries in a detail oriented and timely manner.
  • Ability to interpret and explain insurance policies and procedures to clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members at all levels.
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines with little supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in Insurance or Payroll Services are a plus.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are advantageous.
