Business Systems Analyst will approach tasks with a strong drive to master and see to completion in support of our IT Department in the following duties and responsibilities :
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Gather detailed business requirements to support business needs aligned.
- Configure systems to support business SOP’s and develop audits to ensure accuracy
- Contribute to and maintain system standards.
- Research and recommend innovative, and where possible, automated approaches for system administration tasks.
- Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.
- Develop, analyze, prioritize, and execute on requirement specifications, data mapping, initial set-up for new customers / business within core business applications
Operations and Support :
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
- Utilize routing software to support RFPs and other operational projects
- Create, change and delete user accounts per request.
- Provide Tier III / other support per request from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
Maintenance :
- Maintain operational, configuration or other procedures.
- Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning to various software packages.
Qualifications :
- 3+ years of systems administration, maintenance, and analysis experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a similar field or demonstrated job performance equivalent of educational requirements.
- The position must make accurate decisions at times with limited data available.
- Ability to interface with non-technical staff and provide technology solutions with minimal disturbance.
