Core Responsibilities
- Responsible for the preparation and processing of the monthly payroll in US and Europe.
- Maintain a proper documentation control system for monthly incidences and reports.
- Date entry for personnel transactions such as new hire, termination, leave of absence, benefits deductions, garnishments, etc.
in the Payroll and Benefits platforms
- Coordination with external suppliers and internal support areas (Accounting, Treasury, Finance, Procurement, etc.)
- Responsible of timely payment of monthly premiums. Reviews billings for accuracy and resolves discrepancies with carriers.
- 401k monthly analysis and payroll validation
- Address benefit inquiries to ensure timely and accurate resolutions.
- Maintain contact with employees and beneficiaries to facilitate proper and complete utilization of benefits for all U.S. and Europe employees
- Inform employees of their benefit options and plans
First point of contact for internal and external audits in the U.S. Payroll and Benefits area
- Fulfill all governmental regulatory mandates and ensure filings are performed as required.
- Administer online COBRA enrollments / changes and respond to and manage Workers compensation cases.
Key Interfaces
- Interface with all levels of employees, management and payroll and benefit vendors.
- Liaison with HR Admin to ensure that all employee information is accurately maintained and
reported
Qualifications
A minimum of 2-5 years of experience with primary responsibility of Payroll and Benefits
administration and processing.
High School diploma is required. Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business
or related field is preferred.
Solid understanding of benefits administration processes, payroll processing and related
state and federal regulations is required.
Experience
- Strong understanding of HR practices, policies, and employment law.
- Understanding of different benefit plans (retirement, health & dental insurance, etc.).
- Good interpersonal skills and communication skills ability to liaise at all levels
