Account Sales Manager Job Summary
This position is designed to develop, promote, and manage sales efforts within the North East Territory for a defense division.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales of various products, including trade goods, life rafts, PPE, boats, davits, and other items from the company's catalog.
Additionally, this role will involve managing product sales through service partner stations, dealers in the region, or directly to shipyards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the defense and maritime industries and a proven ability to foster relationships and grow market presence within the assigned territory.
Account Sales Manager Responsibilities
- The overall sales operation in the designated region in accordance with instructions and objectives given by Sales Director.
- Responsible for annual budgets including revenue and profitability on his customer portfolio.
- Liaison to service Manager in support of the delivery of the territory products and services.
- Support on credit and collections.
- Promote sales of the company’s whole product range to primary defense customers.
- Develop and maintain a professional relationship with service stations.
- Participate on the monthly Sales meeting for proper follow up on KPI, visits according to Sales excellence process.
- Provide feedback on data analysis and CRM to SD.
- Engage with customers and provide valued propositions under products and concepts like SOA (ship owner agreements)
