Job Title : Lead Electrician

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Electrician to join our team. As the Lead Electrician, you will play a crucial role in overseeing electrical projects, leading a team of electricians, conducting site surveys, and building accurate quotes for material and labor.

Your expertise, attention to detail, and leadership abilities will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of projects and the delivery of high-quality electrical services.

Responsibilities :

  • Project Assessment and Site Surveys :
  • Conduct thorough site surveys to assess the scope of work, identify electrical requirements, and gather necessary information.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to understand project specifications and objectives.
  • Provide recommendations and insights based on your technical expertise to optimize project planning and execution.
  • Building Accurate Quotes :
  • Utilize your knowledge and experience to estimate material and labor requirements for electrical projects.
  • Consider factors such as project complexity, timelines, and regulatory compliance to provide accurate and competitive quotes.
  • Collaborate with procurement and estimating teams to ensure the availability and cost-effectiveness of materials.
  • Team Leadership and Supervision :
  • Lead a team of electricians, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure efficient and high-quality work.
  • Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, growth, and professional development.
  • Quality Control and Safety Compliance :
  • Maintain a strong focus on quality control, ensuring that all work adheres to industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any potential issues or areas for improvement.
  • Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to maintain high-quality workmanship and safety standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication :
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to provide updates on project status, resolve issues, and address any concerns.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment for projects.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, providing clear instructions, feedback, and guidance to facilitate efficient project execution.

Requirements :

  • Valid electrical license / certification (REQUIREMENT)
  • Extensive experience (minimum 10 years) as an electrician, with a proven track record of successfully leading electrical projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to assess project requirements accurately.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines.
