Regional Tax Expert

Our client is looking to add a Regional Tax Expert to be responsible for assisting with various local, state, and federal tax regulations, perform estimations, analysis, planning, and research and help with audits.
What You Will Be Doing
- Prepare Federal and State income tax returns for Amdocs corporations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant tax laws.
- Prepare and file Federal and State estimated tax payments and extensions.
- Prepare and file various gross receipts and commercial activity tax returns and payments.
- Manage calendar compliance due dates to ensure returns and payments are timely filed.
- Respond to and resolve federal and state correspondence.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, providing insights and recommendations to optimize tax strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary financial information and documentation for tax filings.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to address complex tax issues and provide strategic recommendations to minimize tax liabilities.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or relevant certification a plus.
- Proven experience as a Tax Accountant, with a focus on corporate tax returns.
- In-depth knowledge of Federal and State tax laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex tax issues.
