The Opportunity
Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Analyst to join our team. The Quality Analyst is primarily responsible for the conducting process assessments on current production manufacturing processes and facilitate improvements through application of the quality principles derived from the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) methodology.
This can range from creating more robust process documentation, identification and implementation of efficiency improving actions, and Root-Cause / Problem-Solving operations.
Qualifications :
- Associate’s Degree is preferred, but not required.
- Experience in automotive or aerospace manufacturing with knowledge of the unique requirements of the low volume / high precision manufacturing process.
- Formal training and / or experience with the APQP and / or PPAP product & process development methodologies.
- Be able to effectively communicate to resolve issues with documentation.
- Understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), how to read drawing notes and First Article Inspections
- Knowledge of FMEA, Control Plans, MSA and Process Capability Assessment.
- Analytical skills to conduct process studies and assess quality trends.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse product development teams and introduce productive change often in fast-paced environments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
