• We havea Controls Engineer position open in OrlandoFL.
• This position is responsible for controlsengineering project requirements involving control system designDCS / PLC programming control panel design instrumentation checkoutsupport and startupassistance.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Mustbe organized technically competent have effective oral and writtencommunications and experience in working in a multidisciplinedenvironment and interfacing with engineers designers anddrafters.
• Designs develops and implementsDCS / PLC control system (logic software and hardware) to meetprocess requirements. As well as complying with any local orgovernment agency design / implementationcodes.
• Knowledge of control panel and systemdesign standards and code practices for any local or governmentagencies
• Develops documents detailing controlconfiguration and design. Documents include Theory / Description ofoperation Detailed control system design description systemimplementation / acceptance test plans.
• Able tointerface with facility design to optimize panel locationminimizing voltage drop and optimizing panelmaintenance.
• Able to perform the followingsystem design calculations / analysis : Short circuit protectionharmonics noise reduction / cancellation power consumption load flowshort circuit protection protective relay / circuit design groundfault monitoring safety system implementation (SILrating)
• Knowledge of analyzing system designfor Hazard analysis development andmitigation
• Ability to implement control systemredundancy to minimize single points offailure.
• Develops schematics of control systemconfiguration wiring network layout and equipment panel layouts onAutoCAD
• Will assist with the initial startupand debugging of integrated systems and the development of systemdocumentation.
• Individual will be working onautomation and control system integration projects for clients inindustries such as entertainment andmanufacturing.
• Will act as technical lead onprojects and guide lowerlevel engineers technicians andcontractors.
• Will act as Project Manager onsmaller projects ranging from $50k to $250k. This includes but isnot limited to :
• Develops and executesimplementation plans for the project.
• Assignswork to meet overall project deadlines.
• Ensuresthat all project team members clearly understand the scope of WMresponsibilities.
• Develops schedules for WM andcustomer requirements.
• Evaluates progress onproject(s) and details changes.
• Responsible forall purchasing and subcontractorrequirements
• Responsible for the development ofcosts and proposal of change orders to contractscope.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Education Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering. (Directly relatedexperience may be substituted for degree)
• 5years in the following areas is preferred : Ethernetbased controlsystems safety systems instrumentation components logic programmingand DCS programming (i.

e. DeltaV Experion800xA.)

• Experience with instrumentation andcontrols / PLC system design (i.e. Allen Bradley Modicon Siemens)required.
• Experience with AutoCAD is alsodesired.
• KeyCompetencies Knowledge of contract documents andspecifications. Ability to collect field data and accurately recordfindings.

• Skills Allemployees are required to be proficient in the use of MicrosoftWindows and Officeenvironments.
• TRAVEL : Abilityto travel up to35%.
