SCOPE
The General Manager - Sales & Marketing (Apparel) will lead the strategic direction to achieve sales and marketing objectives for high-end brand clients and key categories.
This role is crucial in driving topline growth and profitability through advanced design, development, order management, and strategic long-range planning.
The position requires establishing and maintaining strong relationships with premium buyers, acquiring new clients, and mastering successful negotiations.
Additionally, the Head of Sales & Marketing will lead and nurture a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with the organizations commitment to innovation and excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement comprehensive Sales & Marketing strategies that align with long-range planning, focusing on high-end brands and key categories.
Utilize cutting-edge technologies, including AI, to drive innovation, enhance agility, and streamline processes.
- Drive topline growth and profitability for high-value customer accounts and categories, while actively pursuing new business opportunities and expanding into emerging brands and categories.
- Cultivate and manage high-level customer relationships, leading efforts in product innovation and business development.
Achieve Customer Relationship Index (CRI) targets through impactful storytelling and data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal and global teams to ensure cohesive execution of customer marketing objectives, leveraging technology and market insights to identify and secure new customer acquisition opportunities.
- Lead, inspire, and develop the marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and agility. Promote adaptability to market trends and advancements in technology to maintain a competitive edge.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Senior-level industry experience with adequate educational qualifications and over 5 years of experience in a senior position.
