Job Description
- The Estimator is responsible for : Analyzing project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine accurate cost estimates
- Collaborating with various parties (architects, subs, etc.) to gather necessary information
- Preparing and submitting comprehensive, competitive bids and proposals
- Evaluating and comparing subcontractor and supplier quotes
- Conducting value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and cost factors
- Assisting in project cost control and budget management

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, related, or similar experience
- 5+ years of experience with with a diverse project background including ground up health care construction, K-12, Higher education, or other commercial
- Design Build environment experience.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam or Sage.
- Ability to breakdown construction operations into a logical sequence of activities creating construction schedules
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
