LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring an experienced Payroll Supervisor for our client in Walnut Creek, CA. This full-time position offers a hybrid work environment with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
The Payroll Supervisor will lead a small team of payroll accountants and will be responsible for managing multi-state payroll, GL entries and account reconciliation, preparing reports, quarterly tax filings and ensuring compliance.
This role requires at least 7 years of experience. This would be a good fit for an experienced applicant with ADP Vantage and GL experience.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and supervise team of two payroll accountants
- Oversee payroll processing for multi-state partner and staff payroll
- Assist with quarterly multi-state tax filings
- Review and approve invoices
- Prepare GL journal entries and GL account reconciliation
- Generate payroll reports and analysis
- Manage payroll projects
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and best practices
- Identify and help implement improvements to procedures
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree
- Certified Payroll Professional
- Minimum 7 years of experience
- ADP Vantage experience required
- GL experience preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
