The desired candidate analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing requirements, such as the Navy’s Human resources system. Responsibilities :
- analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing requirements, such as the Navy’s Human resources system.
- Coordinates with customer, business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls.
- Serves as Functional Analyst defining business intelligence requirements for Analytical application and reporting.
- Identifies and develops high level requirements based on knowledge of the Navy’s personnel and pay systems, and analytical reporting, basic government accounting and financial knowledge.
- Responsible for decomposing high level functional requirements and writing system and technical requirements for development and testing.
- As a member of a Task Order Team, must be able to work well with co-workers, developers, testers, and customers.
Security :
- US Citizenship required
- Secret Security Clearance required
Required Education and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree; 4 years of additional experience on US Navy Functional Experience may be substituted for a degree
- 7 10 years of experience
- 4+ years of strong PeopleSoft HCM experience
- US Naval Reserve field experience and knowledge of reserve management database systems.
- Knowledge of US Naval reserve administrative and HR Policies.
- Knowledge of US Navy Naval Enlisted Systems (NES) and / or Officer Personnel Information Systems (OPINS)
- Experience with NSIPS.
- Analyzes, evaluates, modifies, configures, tests and implements enterprise wide purchased systems (e.g. SAP, PeopleSoft, etc.).
- Prepares application system specifications.
- Plans, implements and coordinates system upgrades, enhancements or maintenance
- Must possess experience in documenting functional, business intelligence analytics, and reporting requirements.
Desired Experience :
- US Naval Reserve field experience and knowledge of reserve management database systems.
- Knowledge of US Naval Enlisted Systems (NES)
- Knowledge of US Naval Officer Personnel Information Systems (OPINS)
- Experience with NSIPS.
