Responsibilities :

  • Utilize ERP software to streamline production processes.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency.
  • Schedule production activities to meet deadlines.
  • Recruit and train staff to build a high-performing team.
  • Conduct high-level operations analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting for the facility.
  • Utilize labor management systems knowledge to optimize workforce productivity.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.
  • Develop incentive-based rates for production to motivate employees.
  • Utilize basic computer skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Oversee projects related to facility improvements and expansions.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of foundry environments.
  • Experience with leadership and people management.
  • Experience with building incentive-based rates for production.
  • Experience with labor management systems.
  • Experience with project management.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Good math and measurement skills.
  • Independent and self-motivated.
  • Great problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory skills, including training, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
  • Thorough knowledge of company health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Extensive knowledge of production processes and equipment.
  • Ability to lead change management initiatives.
  • Minimum of 7 years of plant management experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Proven track record in leadership and continuous improvement.
  • Strong background in operations analysis and budgeting.
  • Ability to develop and implement incentive-based rates for production.
  • Expertise in using labor management systems to optimize workforce productivity.
  • Experience leading facility improvement and expansion projects.
