PLANNER MANAGER

SUMMARY

The Planner Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of production planning and scheduling, leading a team of planners to ensure efficient workflow, resource optimization, and on-time delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of planners, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective execution of planning activities.

Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the planning department as well as across all functional departments.

Engage with the sales and production teams to coordinate work orders and ensure >

98% OTD to customers.

Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive production plans, aligning with customer requirements, and production capacity.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency, minimize lead times, and meet production targets.

Analyze production capacity and resource constraints to optimize resource utilization across multiple projects and production lines.

Collaborate effectively with managers to prioritize production activities, allocate resources effectively, and resolve scheduling conflicts.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production performance, including on-time delivery and manufacturing level loading.

Analyze performance data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to meet customer OTD requirements and the ISC standard of >

98%.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes, optimize production workflows, and improve overall departmental performance.

Lead cross-functional teams in implementing process improvements, best practices, and lean manufacturing principles.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE

4-year degree or equivalent experience

5+ years successful scheduling experience in manufacturing

Strong leadership and Managerial skills with experience leading teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Manufacturing project planning experience required
