The MIL Corporation is looking for a Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer (Engineering, Associate) to support various RF communications systems and projects.
This role, which is based in Lexington Park, MD, supports a Federal Government client in Washington, DC and other projects as needed.

This position currently requires a hybrid schedule, with 3 days on-site. Schedule is subject to change based on company / contract requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conducts system and subsystem RF engineering analysis and captures system and external interface requirements.
- Assists in development of preliminary and comprehensive RF system architecture, conducts market research and trade studies, and designs subsystems for various military platform communication systems.
- Performs integration, test / evaluation, and installation engineering for RF electronic equipment / systems and subsystems both at MIL and at the customer site.
- Assists in development of documentation for RF test plans, test procedures, and test reports.
- Performs sustainment planning, fielding validation, and verification testing, production engineering planning, risk assessment, and technical resolution.
Travel
Up to 25% as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience supporting RF systems in a classified environment, including SCIFs.
- Significant experience with classified RF networking, equipment, and systems.
- Significant experience with AM, HF, VHF, FM, and UHF RF technologies.
- Significant experience with SATCOM and LOS radio communications.
- Significant experience with antenna system design and deployment.
- Experience with RF waveform engineering.
- Experience with RF over fiber.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college. A high school diploma and six (6) years of work experience related to the position or an Associate’s Degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college plus four (4) years of additional work experience related to the position may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
Clearance

Salary at MIL is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and contractual limitations. For this position, the projected compensation range is $100,847 $131,271 per year.
