Mendelson Firm, PLLC dba Mendelson Law Firm is growing and is seeking an Experienced Collection Specialists with proven experience in third party collections.
Our representatives must conduct themselves with the highest manner of respect for all parties and maintain compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Successful candidates will collect on pre and post judgment accounts in Mississippi and Tennessee.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a member of the collection staff, you will be responsible for achieving recovery goals by making outbound and handling inbound collection calls.
Additional responsibilities include managing your work queue and documenting accounts while following company policies and procedures including strict adherence to all compliance requirements.
You will comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations including, but not limited to, FDCPA, TCPA, FCRA, GLBA, and HIPAA.

Selected candidates with collections experience will possess the following :
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Effective listening techniques
- Patience
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
- Ability to assist consumers in a unique situation and create and negotiate repayment of past due obligations with the consumers budget
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of federal, state and local collection laws and regulations.
All selected candidates must exhibit flexibility and be open to change and work well in a high-volume, fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
As a prerequisite of employment, all employees must successfully pass a comprehensive background and drug screening requirement.
