Through shared understanding, respect, and mutual empowerment, peer support coordinators help people become and stay engaged in the recovery process and reduce the likelihood of relapse.
OFFICE LOCATION : 1500 NW Bethany Blvd. Ste. 320 Beaverton, OR 97006 COMPENSATION : $19-20 / hr RESPONSIBILITIES ·Provide peer support, skills training, and other services to assigned individuals·Assist individuals by providing a warm hand off to other agency departments for services·Working with clients to identify recovery goals and safety plans·Coordination of services with community partners and attend assigned meetings·Clinical record keeping and report writing·Respond to crisis calls as appropriate per location / position·Coverage for team members·Driving duties may assigned as needed for such things as client shopping and appointments·Attend all SUD staff meetings and training as assigned and / or needed·Participate in regular supervision with Clinical Supervisor·Wellness walks with clients·Other duties may be assigned as needed SKILLS & EXPERIENCE ·High school diploma or GED equivalent·Continuous sobriety for the immediate past two years·Certified Recovery Mentor Certification preferred ·Valid driver’s license·Microsoft Office skills·Previous addiction counseling experience·Strong written and oral communication skills·Experience with patient / client documentation review·Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States·LifeStance is an EEO / Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status·Demonstrates awareness, inclusivity, sensitivity, humility, and experience in working with individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, gender identities, and other various aspects of culture
