This role is responsible for the strategic management of the company's treasury activities, including cash management, liquidity planning, risk management, and the optimization of financial resources.

The pay range for this position In Western Washington varies between $145,530.00 - $210,735.00, and for Eastern Washington varies between $121,660.
00 - $176,170.00. Washington Dental Service and its affiliates, including Delta Dental of Washington and Arcora Foundation intends to offer the selected candidate a base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
Base pay will also be adjusted based on the candidate's geographic location.

Cash Management :
- Oversee daily cash position and cash flow forecasting.
- Manage short-term and long-term cash flow to ensure liquidity.
- Optimize cash handling processes and banking relationships.
Liquidity Planning :
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure adequate liquidity across all subsidiaries, given regulatory constraints.
- Monitor and manage company-wide liquidity needs. Develop cash projections and recommend capital allocation options.
Risk Management :
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks including foreign exchange, interest rates, and credit risks.
- Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Treasury Operations :
- Oversee the improvement of treasury management systems and tools.
- Oversee debt issuance and management, including covenants compliance.
Compliance :
- Manage compliance around employment / federal / state / local payroll tax returns, including unclaimed property.
- Serve as primary collaborator with Internal audit and other internal partners on behalf of Treasury function.
- Strong understanding and experience implementing Treasury-related internal controls.
Banking Relationships :
- Oversee and develop relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Negotiate banking services and fees to ensure cost-effective arrangements.
Cash Reporting and Analysis :
- Oversee preparation and present regular reports on cash flow, liquidity, and treasury performance.
- Conduct cash deployment analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of treasury-related information.
Team Leadership :
Lead, mentor, and develop the treasury team, which includes Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll functions.
Must be adept at reinforcing and demonstrating WDS / DDWA core values cross functionally.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Strategic Initiatives :
- Support strategic projects, including mergers and acquisitions, capital structure optimization, and other corporate finance activities.
- Serve as leader of Treasury function in cross-functional teams to drive corporate initiatives and growth strategies.
Experience, skills, and education do you need to have to succeed in the position : The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in treasury or corporate finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Professional certification such as Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is a plus.
- Experience leading Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll functions
- Strong understanding of cash management, financial markets and risk management strategies.
- Experience with practical application of artificial intelligence on Finance processes
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in treasury management systems and financial modeling tools.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
