Job Title : Quality Inspector

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Food Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong experience in food safety and quality assurance, with specific experience in operating and maintaining food metal detectors.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections of food products to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain food metal detection equipment to identify and remove contaminants.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Document and report inspection results, including any non-conformities or deviations.
• Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to implement corrective actions.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on quality control procedures and the use of metal detection equipment.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory changes related to food safety and quality.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 720 Hour(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Thorofare, New Jersey.

Work Environment

Cold storage (mostly in 38 / 40 degrees) - Dressing warm is a must! PPE will be provided (Hairnets, lab coats). Slip-resistant shoes / boots are required (don't need to be steel toe).

Schedule : (Full-Time) 2nd shift 11 : 30am-8 : 00pm OFF Tuesday / Saturday (This position does offer part time hours must work Fridays and Sundays)

Pay Range : $18-20
