3CON is looking for a full-time Industrial Electrician to add to our staff in Wixom, MI , needed for daily 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday with OT available often.

Essential Duties :

• Assemble and install components, subassemblies, and wiring for automation systems.
• Assemble electrical control panels and junction boxes by installing electrical components, duct, din rail, and wiring.
• Use manual and powered hand tools to create control systems for tools and machines.
• Meet production schedules on time with the utmost quality.
• Read and interpret manufacturing documentation (electrical prints, Bill of Materials, mechanical drawings, etc.)
• Learn and perform duties according to company and industry specifications and standards.
• Use measurement and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot, test, and modify electrical systems.
• Perform additional electrical manufacturing related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Contribute to achieving department and company goals.

Requirements :

• Proficiency in reading and following European electrical prints with eView and the E-PLAN software.
• Minimum 1 years machine tool electrical experience or 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Basic understanding of control theory with PLCs and related hardware (fuses, contactors, relays, etc.)
• Experience handling low to high voltage up to 480 VAC.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Possess good communication skills and positive attitude.
• Must be able to use hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, etc.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, crawl, and have the ability to lift and move 40 lbs.
• Willingness to travel (up to 30%)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (VISA sponsorship not possible).

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensed electrician in related electrical field.
• Experience with European electrical prints.
• Experience with theory and troubleshooting of electrical systems and circuits.
• Some German language skills.
