Seeking a proven track record of successfully managing a team of buyers (minimally 3) in a corporate setting with multiple locations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and fostering a relationship with our suppliers and vendors. You will also oversee the purchasing strategy, planning integrity, and purchasing training process.
Responsibilities
- Procure parts and materials at negotiated rate
- Develop a supply and production plan to ensure proper inventory levels
- Create and monitor the performance of the purchasing strategy
- Support our purchasing staff to meet established KPIs like inventory turns, order fill, cost reduction.
Qualifications
- BS in Supply Chain or related field
- Strong leadership / negotiation skills
- 5 years' of sourcing experience and 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong Excel skills and MRP a plus
- Drive for success
