Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Outpatient Cardiology, Advanced Heart Failure (Methodist Hospital)

Join our dedicated IUHP Cardiology team! We are seeking a patient-focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Advanced Heart Failure team practicing in the outpatient setting at Methodist Hospital in downtown Indianapolis!

Position Details :

• Full Time, Day Shift Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am-4 : 00pm No weekends, no call
• 100% Outpatient
• Work directly with 3 physicians and 5 other APPs

Responsibilities

This position will include initiation of guideline directed medical therapy as well as outpatient follow up appointments in clinic and patient education for heart failure patients.

Qualifications :

• Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Master’s Degree required
• Will accept an ACNP, AGNP, ANP, FNP or PA If new graduate, ICU / PCU nursing experience or extensive ICU or Cardiology experience during clinical rotations required
• Cardiology / Heart Failure experience preferred
• Ideal candidates have excellent critical thinking skills, are able to multitask in a high intensity setting, and have confidence in their clinical skills to function top of scope.
