What You'll be Doing :

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications, integrating AI models into the web experience while collaborating closely with business and product teams.

You'll report to the Director, Application Development.

During a Typical Day, You'll :

Front-End Development : Design, develop, and maintain responsive web UIs that are scalable and efficient.

  • Cloud-Native Application Development : Build, test, and deploy cloud-native applications leveraging GCP services, including Vertex AI, Cloud Run, and Kubernetes Engine.
  • API Development : Develop APIs for seamless integration between front-end applications, third-party services, and AI models hosted in the cloud.
  • Collaboration with DevOps : Work with DevOps teams to establish continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI / CD) pipelines for efficient deployment.
  • Prototyping and Scaling AI : Assist in formulating strategies for rapid prototyping and scaling of AI capabilities using cloud-based services.
  • Performance and Quality : Ensure the performance, quality, and reliability of applications across cloud platforms.
  • Coding Best Practices : Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Mentorship : Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Mentor junior engineers, providing technical direction and support.
  • Innovation and Learning : Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, AI tools, and industry trends to drive continuous innovation in AI application development.

What You Bring to the Role

  • 2 years of experience in developing responsive web UIs.
  • Strong JavaScript skills (React, Angular, Vue, or similar frameworks)
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Vertex AI, Cloud Run, and Kubernetes Engine.
  • Experience with API development and cloud-native application architectures.
  • Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including DevOps and product management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning and applying new technologies.

The anticipated range is $120,000-130,000. Actual compensation offers to a candidate may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education and / or skill levels.
