We’re looking for an experienced Web Application Developer to help play an important part in our growth.
This is a work from home position*
The ideal candidate will be familiar with multiple tech stacks. Daily responsibilities for this role include :
- Develop and maintain multiple internal and external web applications and APIs using PHP or similar.
- Build and update web templates using HTML / CSS / Javascript.
- Work with multiple departments frequently to implement features into existing web applications.
- Use debugging and problem solving skills to find, log, and solve issues in user-facing software.
- Write and optimize database queries to solve business requirements using MySQL or similar.
- Manage incoming tickets from users and system alerts.
- Perform peer code reviews for new features and improvements.
- Communicate with project stakeholders regarding project scope, requirements, and progress.
Required Qualifications :
- Experience with back-end development using PHP or similar.
- Experience with current front-end technologies, HTML5, CSS, Javascript
- Familiarity with data analysis and technical analysis
- Having a strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL or similar)
Preferred :
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related
- Familiarity with Linux server management
- Familiarity with cloud service providers (Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, Azure)
- Has built dynamic interfaces using Javascript (React, VueJS, Angular, Backbone, etc)
- Understanding of version control systems (We use git.)
- Familiarity with building mobile applications
- Familiarity with containerization of applications and hosting web applications from containers
Pay : Commensurate with experience. Provide a salary history and your salary requirements.
