Description
This is a part-time, temporary / seasonal position. Hours may vary by week depending on need.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Provides supervision and coaching for the WNC E-Sports program and club
Recruits student-athletes, directs and manages practices, coordinates competitions and game day operations, organizes potetial travel schedules, and supervises team conduct during competition, travel, tournaments, practices, and other events where the E-Sports team is represented.
Fosters a positive team atmosphere
Works closely with the Coordinator of Student Life to integrate E-Sport into the overall WNC student life experience.
Minimum Qualifications :
Current WNC Full or Part-time employee or community member
Knowledge and experience with team-based multiplayer, online video games
Experience with game titles such as League of Legends, Overwatch, Rocket League, Smash Brothers, and Hearthstone
Requires excellent relationship building, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must be good at problem solving and organizational skills
Experience with recruiting and marketing of the E-Sports
