Job Title : Service Technician

Job Description

As a Construction Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing and servicing engines of wind turbine machines out in the field.

This role involves climbing wind turbine machines, performing diagnostics, and making necessary repairs. You will also conduct service audits on wind machines after installation.

This position requires experience with electrical panels and a willingness to work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Install and service engines of wind turbine machines.
• Climb wind turbine machines to perform diagnostics and repairs.
• Conduct service audits on wind machines after installation.
• Diagnose and repair engines, including V-10, Caterpillar, Chevy, Ford, propane, and diesel engines.
• Work with electrical panels and components.
• Travel to various locations, including Napa and out of state, as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience with V-10, Caterpillar, Chevy, Ford, propane, and diesel engines.
• Ability to diagnose engine issues.
• Background in electrical work.
• At least 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Clean DMV driving record.
• Ability to climb up to 35 feet.

Work Environment

Work outdoors in the orchards, facing extreme heat and cold conditions. During the summer, the schedule is 4-10's from Monday to Thursday.

In October, during the frost season, expect to work 6-7 days per week for 10-14 hours each day.
