We are currently hiring a Lamination Machine Operator (1st Shift, Monday thru Friday, 7am 3 : 30pm)

Hourly Rate : Minimum $23 per hour

What you’ll do :

  • Work within team to operate the Lamination Line
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance and record all required documentation
  • Mixing of the various urethane batches and weigh Dyes for the laminator
  • Operate the Sheeter
  • Operate the Curing Oven
  • Package sheets of film for Shipment
  • Maintain the cleanliness of all areas within the department
  • Stage material using Forklift, pallet jacks and carts
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma with 1 year of experience
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing company preferred
  • Forklift certification preferred and valid driver’s license
  • The duties of this job require exposure to working near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles, UV rays, and toxic or caustic chemicals
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
  • The employee will regularly handle Polycarbonate rolls weighing up to 100 pounds and handle 55-gallon drums using an overhead crane and power lifts
  • Ability to read and learn complex procedure, operational manuals, and other documentations
  • Ability to record daily production counts and material lots for full traceability
  • Basic knowledge and skill to operate PC a must; experience with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint preferred
  • Respirator, gloves and lab coats are required when handling chemicals
  • Closed toe shoe required with heel support
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts
  • Safety glasses and long sleeve shirts may be required where needed
