Are you ready to use your leadership and skills in a program management position? This is your opportunity! As an Associate Program Manager, you will be using your skills and expertise to manage the cost, schedule, and scope of our Enhanced Flight Vision System projects.

You'll be responsible for analyzing cost / schedule performance, providing project / program status, researching / fact-finding, and negotiating with project / program stakeholders to ensure initiatives meet constraints.

The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command / control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide.

The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains air, land, sea, space and cyber.

Responsibilities :

  • Coordination of resources
  • Coordination with functional team members for tasking and monthly program status updates
  • Execution of the project Communication Plan
  • Managing risk and opportunities for your assigned projects
  • Management of material by driving the process from purchase request to shipment
  • Support the Control Account Managers and be able to explain cost / schedule variances to program managers, directors and business operations personnel in monthly program management reviews

Must-haves :

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and drive others to success
  • Requires strong analytical skills & capability to meet schedules
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Capability to meet schedule and cost objectives
  • Ability to manage complex situations, inspire your teammates, drive innovative thinking, instill collaboration, drive for success, challenge the status quo, and demonstrate the ability to adapt to dynamic situations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred :

  • Understanding of basic Earned Value Management principles
  • Understanding of commercial product development principles
  • Understanding of the principles of Risk Management
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems in an FAA compliant environment
  • Operations experience

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.

IMPORTANT NOTICE :

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.

S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants.

Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.

S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.
