About the Role :
We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Intelligence Developer to join our Data & Analytics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new dashboards and reports in Power BI, translating business and technical requirements into user-friendly tools, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality analytical solutions.
This role is critical to our shift away from third-party vendors and bringing the development of analytics in-house.
The Details : Full-Time REMOTE
In this role, you will be responsible for :
- Develop and design Power BI dashboards and reports to meet business requirements.
- Translate business and technical requirements into effective and user-friendly visualizations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports and dashboards via comprehensive unit testing.
- Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability.
- Create and maintain documentation for all Power BI solutions, including design, development, and deployment processes.
- Translate high-level requirements and business goals into wireframes, making design recommendations to build out final dashboards and visualizations.
- Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the adoption and usage of Power BI solutions.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and backlog grooming.
- Continuously monitor and improve existing Power BI solutions based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
- Stay current with the latest features and best practices in Power BI and data visualization.
What we are looking for :
Knowledge :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
- Experience with Power BI Premium features.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and performance tuning in Power BI.
- Experience with SQL and other data query languages.
- Ability to translate business requirements and technical documentation into technical specifications for Power BI solutions.
Experience :
- Experience with data warehousing concepts such as data modeling, ETL development, data integration, and data analysis.
- Knowledge of advanced Power BI features such as data modeling, performance optimization, and advanced visualization techniques.
- Expertise in clinical metrics and KPIs for specialties such as hospital medicine, emergency medicine, anesthesia, telemedicine, critical care, revenue cycle, business operations, finance, and accountable care.
- Experience creating and monitoring data quality or production support dashboards to proactively react to changes or issues in analytic solutions.
Pay Range : $110,000-$125,000 annually. Exact pay will be determined based on candidate experience and geographical location.
