Mechanic Tasks & Duties (What you'll do)
Repair broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage
Work on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs
Inspect equipment and systems for repair
Apply preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems
Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
Maintain shop area in a neat and orderly manner
Available for limited call ins and occasionally to work outside normal schedule.
Mechanic Shift Info
Day Shift, 7 : 30 am to 4 : 30 pm
Monday - Friday
Mechanic Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)
Mechanic experience preferred
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Able to work in the US
Work with hydraulic, mechanical repairs and carpentry
Assist Maintenance personnel with major projects
Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building's electricity
Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building
Grounds keeping skills if the facility contains lawns or other outdoor areas in need of maintenance
Interpersonal skills to interact with employees or residents of the building in a pleasant manner
Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in a timely manner and any warning signs of problems are not overlooked
Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building
Able to pass a background check
Able to work in the US
