The current PSE opening is targeted to directly interface with the Union Pacific Railroad. Since UP headquarters are centered in Omaha, Nebraska, it is preferred that the chosen candidate locate in Omaha though locating in Grain Valley, Missouri will be considered.)
Your future role

You'll serve as a pivotal bridge between railroad customers and Alstom's advanced product solutions, ensuring our technology meets the intricate demands of the industry.
Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Product Managers, Account Executives, Product Design Engineering, and Application Engineering), establish product pilot sites, analyze product performance, and much more."
We’ll look to you for :
Communicating product capabilities and design recommendations to customers,
Supporting all technical aspects of strategic business initiatives executed for customers,
Providing product and application training,
Advising on product application options,
Troubleshooting customer field issues in the field and through lab analysis,
Generating product performance and problem analysis reports,
Testing and critiquing new product features

Degree in engineering or related technical field,
Experience or understanding of railroad signal experience applying wayside signaling, crossing, and / or switch machine products to the railroad while resolving field issues,
A methodical approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving,
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal,
Proven ability to work independently in a multi-site, team environment,
Willingness and ability to travel about 30% of the time, including international travel,
Customer interface experience with a strong customer presence
