We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Finance to join our team here at Reflow Medical. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with extensive international experience in finance, particularly within the medical device sector.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing financial operations, driving growth initiatives, and ensuring compliance in global markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Financial Strategy and Planning :
  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
  • Lead financial operations, planning, budgeting, and reporting processes.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis.
  • International Financial Management :
  • Manage financial operations across international markets, ensuring compliance with local regulations and optimizing financial performance.
  • Oversee banking, currency risk management, hedging strategies, and foreign exchange operations.
  • Coordinate with US and international finance teams to standardize financial reporting and improve efficiency.
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance :
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and international accounting standards.
  • Consolidated financial reporting with US parent and foreign subsidiaries.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and tax filings across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
  • Strategic Leadership and Decision Support :
  • Collaborate with executive team members to evaluate business opportunities, investments, and strategic partnerships.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making and operational improvements.
  • Drive initiatives to optimize capital structure, manage working capital, and enhance profitability.
  • Team Development and Management :
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and accountability within the finance department.
  • Establish clear goals and performance metrics, conducting regular performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles within the medical device industry.
  • Proven experience managing finance functions across multiple international markets.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, and US GAAP financial reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior management, board members, and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to drive business results through financial leadership and innovation.
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions, financial modeling, and capital raising is a plus.
