We have tremendous opportunities for Manager Accountants to play a key role on our Assurance team. We have openings for candidates residing in and around Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, and Albany, New York.

Responsibilities :
- Become familiar with The Bonadio Group's policies and procedures
- Develop positive working relationships with clients as well as with internal co-workers
- Generate reports which identify and address areas of significant risk and evaluate overall effectiveness of operations
- Recommend changes to policies and establish procedures that positively influence organization's operation
- Work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends
- Prepare complex client correspondence including recommendations, technical issues and proposals
- Oversee the efforts of client service teams on client engagements, while managing and mentoring staff and senior accountant colleagues
- Recognize the opportunity of providing new and innovative services and demonstrates the ability to pursue such opportunities
- Retain and develop new clients, including cultivate opportunities to cross-sell the firm's full range of client services
- Handle and manage multiple priorities, and deliver projects and engagements on time, within budget and to the client's satisfaction, including clear and concise working papers and financial statements
- Often must lead or participate in a cooperative effort among members of a project team
- Continual learning of rules, regulations, and code of professional conduct of the AICPA and pronouncements of the FASB and AICPA
Qualifications : Required :
Required :
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting
- CPA certification
- A minimum of seven years of related experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Teams and Outlook
- Proven ability to provide mentoring, leadership and examples of development of team members
Preferred :
- Experience with ProSystems Engagement software
- Involvement with community and / or professional organizations
The salary range for this opportunity is between $75,000-$100,000 commensurate with experience.
Hours of Operation :
- Our office hours are from 8 : 00 a.m. until 5 : 00 p.m. Monday through Friday
- Our summer hours are from 8 : 00 a.m. until 5 : 00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8 : 00 a.m. until 12 : 00 p.m. on Friday
- We pride ourselves on our flexibility; however, the ability to work additional hours will be needed at peak times
