What will you do?
Responsible for leading the department (managers, employees, and administrative personnel) in achieving sales revenue goals.
Achievement of targets is a primary objective.
- Ensure new team members are oriented to the expectations of C&C Myers
- Assess the competency and capability of personnel providing coaching and training
- Evaluate capability and maximize results. Ensure that personnel meet quality workmanship standards and expectations, to include high ratios of passed inspections and customer service metrics.
- Oversee assignment of department individuals' daily schedules
- Set and maintain work standards and outline behavioral expectations to ensure employee morale and productivity remains successful
- Oversee inventory control, including truck stock and warehouse inventory for the electrical department
- Planning and Scheduling :
- Identify needs and deficiencies in planning / scheduling and communication
- Translating work requirements into a prioritized plan for individual tasks and assignments
- Review and adjust specific workplace activities and schedules to meet customer needs
- Work with personnel to overcome work challenges
- Quality Control Administration :
- Participate in incident investigations and reviews
- Report on workforce production, work progress, and revenue generation
- Recommend personnel transfers, actions, and promotions
What do you need?
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role in the electrical trade is required
- Hands-on experience as a qualified and competent electrician
- Master Electrician license preferred; additional compensation will be offered
- Generac experience preferred
- Prior experience managing a large group of employees preferred
- Success in driving revenue / targeted quotas attainment for a division
- Outstanding leadership skills are REQUIRED
- Excellent computer skills needed, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office
- C&C Myers may conduct a preemployment background check and drug test, subject to applicable law.
- Must have, and maintain, a valid . Driver’s License.
