Our Engineering team is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the finance & data science teams. This role works closely with the leaders of these departments to manage large-scale cross-functional projects, & the creation & validation of weekly & monthly reports.

This role will also provide scrum master support to the data science team.

What Youll Be Doing

• Collaborate with senior finance & data science leaders, including C-level executives, to manage large-scale, high-impact projects.
• Provide project management support for finance, data, & marketing initiatives, such as organizing kick-off meetings, taking meeting minutes, creating project plans & timelines, communicating milestones, tracking open action items, & identifying potential risks.
• Regularly coordinate check-ins with stakeholders to provide status updates on project progress.
• Create monthly reports & weekly slide decks in partnership with finance, marketing, & data teams, ensuring data accuracy & addressing any open questions.
• Serve as scrum master for the data team, ensuring Agile Scrum or Kanban best practices are followed, overseeing daily scrums, backlog grooming, & providing visibility into planned work & team progress.
• Lead / oversee planning & retrospective sessions, & ensure projects have clear estimates & deadlines.
• Provide project leadership, work direction, & feedback while coordinating testing schedules with QA staff to maintain quality within project timelines.
• Utilize issue-tracking software to manage project workflows & transitions throughout the development lifecycle.
• Execute product reviews & quality assurance according to company methodology & use sprint reports to monitor team velocity & goal achievement.
• Facilitate hands-on testing sessions when necessary.

What Were Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or in application development management. Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban preferred.
• Strong analytical skills & a proven track record of independently managing large-scale, complex, high-impact projects that are cross-functional
• Excellent planning, coordination, people management, & communication skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication & presentation abilities, capable of translating requirements between non-technical & technical staff & explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Skilled at managing senior stakeholder relationships & providing leadership updates.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, corporate finance, project budgeting, forecasting, & variance analysis.
• Experience in reconciliation reporting, data analysis, & metrics reporting is preferred.
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.

Base Salary

• The US base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000 - 175,000.
• The range displayed on each job posting is based on Nooms estimate as of the date of publication & reflects the minimum & maximum target for the position across all US locations.

The actual placement of the candidate within the range is based on factors including but not limited to relevant experience, assessment of functional skills & behavioral competencies, & scope.

This range is not inclusive of any discretionary bonus or equity package.
