Position Details Title Lecturer, in Kinesiology - IU Indianapolis (Faculty) Appointment Status Non-Tenure Track Department IUPUI Department of Kinesiology School of Health & Human Sciences Location Indianapolis Position Summary The Department of Kinesiology in the School of Health & Human Sciences, Indiana University, located on the IUPUI campus invites applications for a 10-month faculty position beginning August 1, 2024.

Rank and salary will be commensurate with expertise and academic credentials. The successful applicant will have the ability to teach and mentor undergraduate (BS) students in wellness / health-based courses.

The person selected will : 1. Teach 4 courses per semester (fall / spring); 2. Engage in service to the department, school, campus, and profession;

3. Mentor and advise students and complete expectations that demonstrate citizenship to the department and school.

Duties

80% Teaching20% Service / Engagement

Review of applications will begin May 15, 2024, and applications will be accepted until the position is filled. The starting date for the position is August 1, 2024.

Basic Qualifications Minimum master’s degree in a Kinesiology-related or complementary discipline including, but not limited to : wellness, exercise science, health education, fitness studies, etc.
