The City College of New York (CCNY) provides high-quality higher education to culturally, socially, economically, and academically diverse students from underserved populations.
The APA-accredited doctoral program in Clinical Psychology at CCNY invites applications for a full-time Administrative Coordinator to administer a wide range of programmatic functions to begin in Fall 2024.
The CCNY Clinical Psychology program is psycho-dynamically oriented with a longstanding commitment to training professionals who will make clinical, theoretical, and research contributions that address the needs of underserved and minoritized populations.
The program is located in Harlem and offers a clinic that serves a highly diverse student body as well as the surrounding community.
Reporting to the Director of the Clinical Ph.D. Program, the successful candidate will oversee all administrative activities related to the program.
Duties will include programmatic organization, recordkeeping, accounting, event coordination, onboarding students and clinical fellows, and assisting course scheduling.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Works with the program director to develop and implement innovative solutions to support students’ needs
- Retrieves, analyzes, and utilizes relevant data to inform planning, decision making, and management practice
- Maintains records for faculty and students as well as documents for periodic accreditation
- Liaises with campus units to document student progress and ensure program completion
- Assist with monitoring budget and coordinating purchasing, accounting, and payroll
- Coordinates with program director to schedule courses and plan program activities
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree.
Preferred Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a commitment to improving student outcomes; strong administrative skills to effectively manage the day-to-day operations of the Ph.
D. program; work well with faculty, staff, and students; meet deadlines; and work independently. The candidate should also possess three years of relevant experience and demonstrate the ability to work effectively with diverse constituencies, including students, faculty, and staff, have strong organizational and communication skills, and knowledge of database programs.

Provides basic information, instructions, and materials as requested by students, faculty, and others who contact the department.
May supervise office staff and student workers.
Performs related duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary Range : $57,517 - $75,131. Salary commensurate with education and experience.
