job summary : Responsibilities :

Responsibilities :

Will process and ship orders on computer. They must be able to read descriptions and count to ensure the order is correct before processing.

They will also be responsible for stacking the orders the process on a pallet near their station. Check the quality of finished product prior to packing.

• Pack finished product into proper cartons.
• Proficient in all shipping operations.
• Excellent language and communication skills.
• Adequate PC knowledge.
• Able to read instructions and comprehend specifications and format in English.
• Must be detail oriented and accurate in writing and numbers.
• Must possess basic mathematical and keyboard skills.* Seal and label cartons.
• Stock cartons on pallets in the prescribed manner.
• Maintain adequate supplies of cartons, chipboards, filler pads, and tape at the work station.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area.
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Distributes items to production workers.
• Marks materials with identifying information.
• Opens bales, crates, and other containers.

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
