If so, The Pfister is looking for a Front Office Manager to be a part of our team and continue its iconic legacy. As a Front Office Manager you will supervise front desk operations to ensure a high degree of quality and service for guests and assists with supervision of Hotel operations when necessary.

The Pfister Hotel has received AAA Four Diamond hotel status for 46 consecutive years. The hotel is one of only 11 properties throughout North America to maintain the AAA Four Diamond designation since the inception of the Diamond Rating program in 1976. What you will be doing :
- Assist with recruiting, selecting, and retaining quality front desk staff, including conducting training on hotel policies and procedures.
- Promote harmonious associate relations through effective supervision and assist with performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and discharge of staff.
- Schedule front desk associates to ensure proper coverage and maintain payroll within guidelines.
- Ensure high levels of quality and service at the front desk, receiving and resolving guest complaints within assigned authority.
- Operate the front desk, including greeting guests, handling transactions, managing the front office system, answering phones, and ordering supplies.
- Manage reservations, registration, special arrangements for groups, promotional campaigns, and review clerk logbooks and shift reports daily.
- Process daily and end-of-period reports, including reviewing guest ledgers, accounts receivable, payroll, and assuring accurate accounting and cash management.
- Inform the Director of Front Office Operations of all safety and security concerns, including OSHA, general liability, and workers' compensation cases.
- Perform all other related duties as required. What we are looking for :
- Previous Hotel front desk experience required.
- High School Diploma required.
- Good supervisory skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use office and front desk equipment.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Must have flexible work schedule and work as required.
- Represent company in a professional manner.
