Location : Pensacola, FL

Eligibility : U.S. Citizen with an active Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain TS / SCI and DHS Suitability

Are you an experienced Technical Support Specialist looking for a dynamic environment where your skills can have a direct impact?

Our team is seeking a dedicated professional to provide critical support for both Tier I and Tier II technical issues, ensuring the seamless operation of essential systems.

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving complex technical issues.

You'll work closely with both internal teams and agency management to escalate and communicate the status of issues, ensuring rapid resolution.

Your expertise will extend beyond basic troubleshooting as you analyze system data, perform necessary equipment repairs, and utilize technical manuals and engineering documents to optimize performance.

Candidates should have a deep understanding of operating systems such as Solaris, AIX, Red Hat, and Microsoft Windows, alongside experience with system health monitoring, problem documentation, and remote technical support.

Familiarity with VMware, SharePoint, Citrix, and advanced shell scripting languages is highly valued, as is expertise in TCP / IP, Cisco networking, VPNs, firewalls, and storage arrays.

Tier I and Tier II experience in incident response, troubleshooting, and performance optimization is essential.

You'll also benefit from working within an Agile environment and applying ITIL methodologies to enhance support operations.

Requirements

Certifications :

DoD 8570.1-M Compliance at IAT Level I

Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification

Education : High School Diploma (or equivalent) required; advanced degrees and certifications are a plus.
