Maritz Automotive Solutions is a leading automotive consulting firm specializing in driving dealership success from showrooms to service bays.
We are currently seeking Virtual Dealership Consultants to join our dynamic team.
This position will be required to sit near Atlanta, Nashville, Alabama, Tampa, Orlando, or Miami.
Drive Dealership Excitement : Generate enthusiasm among dealerships for digital products and services by highlighting their role in enhancing customer experience, fostering brand loyalty, and boosting dealership profitability.
Foster Strong Relationships : Establish and nurture effective relationships with dealerships in your designated territory, positioning yourself as their trusted advisor.
Your objective is to increase awareness, drive customer acquisition, and facilitate revenue growth.
Liaison Between Manufacturer and Dealerships : Act as the primary liaison between the automobile manufacturer and the assigned dealerships.
Understand the unique needs of each dealership, build credibility, take ownership, and deliver value to both dealerships and brand counterparts.
Subject Matter Expertise : Serve as a subject matter expert in all aspects of the Manufacturer's connected services, mobile app, and loyalty programs.
Conduct remote calls with Dealer leadership and staff, offering guidance and troubleshooting support when issues arise.
Collaborate with Field Teams : Establish strong and productive relationships with the broader field team ecosystem, including vehicle sales, service, marketing teams, and the Fleet and Commercial sales team.
Performance Analysis : Conduct monthly remote and virtual sales performance analyses, leveraging data and analytics to identify opportunities and develop action plans for dealers.
Continuously support improvement efforts.
Ensure Technological Capabilities : Ensure that dealers provide customers with the full technological capabilities associated with their vehicle purchases.
Metrics Monitoring : Monitor dealer, district, zone, and regional metrics to ensure they meet or exceed desired goals. Develop and execute plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual performance targets.
Customer Satisfaction : Address all dealership-customer satisfaction issues through appropriate channels, ensuring swift resolution.
Activity Reporting : Maintain detailed activity reports for each dealership and OEM field activities. Document virtual meetings, phone calls, and electronic correspondence related to the programs.
Follow up with dealership employees, OEM field teams, and team managers, summarizing contacts and agreed-upon action items.
Adaptability : Be prepared to learn and adapt to changes in our product and services as the role evolves.
Preferred Education / Experience / Skills :
Four-year college degree (bachelors) or equivalent experience preferred
Qualifications
Experience in Automotive Industry : Previous experience working with automotive dealerships, call centers, inside sales, in-person or remote product training, consulting, and performance coaching is a strong asset.
Effective Communication : Proficiency in understanding your audience, conveying messages clearly, and presenting information effectively.
Open and transparent communication skills are essential.
Flexible Availability : Willingness to work flexible hours to ensure effectiveness within the assigned time zone, which may occasionally include weekends and holidays.
Tech Proficiency : Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Comfort with technology and subscription services, including the ability to troubleshoot mobile app and internal platform issues.
Time Management : The ability to allocate your time effectively, focusing on high-impact activities while minimizing distractions from the established goals.
Communication Skills : Excellent oral and written communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with stakeholders.
Occasional Travel : Availability for occasional travel, typically 1-5 days per quarter, for meetings and other related activities.
