SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS :
Our ideal candidate demonstrates flexibility and teamwork.
Ability to work 12 to 24 hours per week with an expectation to work more hours as needed.
Candidate must be available to work various shifts between 7 : 15 am and 8 : 00 pm, as scheduled, any day from Monday through Friday .
Occasionally testing events will extend these hours.
Ability to work approximately 0-2 Saturdays per month is required from 7 : 15 am and 8 : 00 pm.
Available to assist local sites as needed.
Available to address operational problems when not at the test center.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
60% of daily tasks are Test Administrator responsibilities :
Performs on-time site opening and closing procedures.
Understands all testing procedures.
Checks in examinees, verifies identification and explains the exam process.
Monitors examinees while testing.
Maintains a secure testing environment.
Communicates with internal technical support to investigate and fix technical issues.
Strictly adheres to company policies using careful judgment.
Responsible for maintaining a professional and clean testing center with light housekeeping duties.
Arrive on time for all scheduled shifts.
40% of daily tasks are Test Center Manager responsibilities :
The Test Center Manager is the onsite manager of a small team of Test Administrator employees.
Site staffing / hiring / retention / conflict resolution / scheduling.
Trains, develops, and coaches staff.
First contact for facility issues.
Ability to multi-task.
QUALIFICATIONS :
At least 1-year customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
High school diploma required ; Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
Strong communication, team leading, and training skills, with exposure to a testing environment preferred.
Must be flexible with work hours and days.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Windows applications, Internet, and email.
Ability to operate a computer, fax, and telephone.
Must maintain focus in quiet environments and hear soft-spoken words.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally.
Able to stand for long periods and escort candidates frequently per shift.
Must be able to sit for extended periods.
Ability to bend, stoop, and lift from a stooped position.
Must see small details at a distance and clearly read names on ID cards and screens.
