For success as a Managing Director, you should have :
- A 4 year degree
- 2 -5 years education, management, or related experience preferred
- An enthusiastic, outgoing and team oriented personality
- Motivation to take the initiative to ensure that a student’s time at Huntington is memorable
- Assertive communication skills
- A confident and flexible demeanor
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment with high levels of self-motivation
The Managing Director’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Conducting monthly follow-up parent conferences
- Meeting regularly with school teachers and guidance counselors on behalf of Huntington students
- Assessing and monitoring student progress and making alterations to individual student programs as required
- Participating in local community and school based marketing initiatives
- Administering initial evaluations and assisting new students
- Assuming Center daily management responsibilities in the absence of the Center Director
