Corporate Attorney (Venture Capital)
Innovative Driven is currently seeking Corporate Attorney with 4-7 years of transactional experience, particularly in venture capital & emerging companies practice .
This is a tremendous opportunity to join the robust practice at an Am Law 100 law firm with over 600 attorneys!
This is a hybrid role , requiring three days a week onsite in Boston, and two remote days.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Drafting and negotiating venture capital investment agreements including NVCA forms
- Leading negotiations of key terms of all venture capital investment agreements
- Supervising, training and mentoring associates in all aspects of venture capital financing
- Advising emerging companies on operational matters, including board and stockholder communications and approvals and equity awards
REQUIREMENTS :
- Graduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
- Must be admitted in Massachusetts, or eligible for admission
- Four to seven years of venture capital and emerging company practice experience
- Knowledge of Excel and capitalization tables
