Job Description
The selected candidate will join a dynamic team responsible for assembling a wide range of equipment systems, ranging from simple to complex.
This role involves various production assembly tasks on both electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
Key responsibilities include :
- Cable Harness Assembly : Routing cable harness assemblies through cabinets and using fixtures effectively.
- Cable Management : Efficiently routing cables through cableways, adhering to detailed cable routing and installation diagrams.
- Cable Fabrication : Producing multiple types of cables, interpreting diagrams and drawings, and utilizing both hand and power tools.
- Self-Management : Working with minimal supervision, maintaining high standards of productivity and quality.
- Progress Reporting : Providing regular verbal updates on project progress and any challenges that might affect timelines.
- Training and Development : Participating in both formal and practical training sessions on cable fabrication, assembly of communications system cabinets, and electronic equipment testing processes.

This position is located in the Mobile, AL area. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to Mobile or surrounding areas.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High School diploma or equivalent and some experience demonstrating mechanical aptitude and / or experience with fabricating electronic assemblies
Pay Information
This position is covered by a wage law called the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA). The wage range for this position is determined by the Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor on a contract-by-contract basis.
